German hotel group 25hours is now on French time. For its first establishment in Paris, it chose an 1860 building facing the Gare du Nord. This starting point is ideal for whoever wishes to discover the capital by bike, as Schindelhauer bicycles are free to use – unless you would rather opt for a Mini, a car that is also available to guests. Far from standardized hotel routines, 25hours really sinks in each of its addresses and brings their environment forward. Paying tribute to the 10th arrondissement where it set up home, this urban cocoon showcases its cosmopolitan aspect: the Sape Bar references the African “sapologie” movement that uses and twists fashion. Mezze served at the Neni Restaurant breathe of Mediterranean flavours and the hotel rooms are dressed with African and Asian elements (wax fabric colourful patterns for bed linens, washbasins similar to tajin dishes…), topped with views of the hustle and bustle of the station, or farther up, of Montmartre and the Sacré-Cœur.
